The times when it mattered most (State Championship qualifying matches just points away from victory) have slid away because my team didn’t have the mental skills to handle pressure and not let past mistakes impact the next play.
After watching one too many games end this way, I decided to do something about it.
I became certified as a Mental Performance Coach, started implementing simple mental training strategies with my team, and haven’t looked back.
